Buyers are able to browse and bid on our vehicles and special objects. such as classic cars, classic motorcycles, vintage bicycles, classic moped, classic scooters, classics van’s, classic trucks, vintage campers, vintage caravans and classic tractors. It all starts with:

We will keep the payment safely in our secure account until the item is delivered to you, so you can bid with confidence.
6. You will pick up your vehicle or object in person or have it shipped to you or you can agree to have it shipped by the Seller. Or you can use one of our reliable shipping partners, by using our
VintaClassics Butler Service.
7. After you let us know everything was received in good order, we pay the seller.
We encourage all potential bidders to read the listing well and review the lot entirely. It is very important that bidders do their due diligence to understand all the details of the vehicle. We encourage bidders to inspect the vehicle in person or have a representative inspect it for them. Here you can check the vehicle VIN number

> If the Seller has specified a buy now option for items in the marketplace, the auction stops and you have purchased the lot.

When a Buyer klik on the buy now button the auction stops and the item is sold. The payments and delivery is handled for these items by sellers true our secured message system. Payments for vehicles are done as here below described
> Submit your vehicle or object to our us for screening.
> After our review, your auction will go live. Approximately with in 48 hours
> When you that your oldtimer or youngtimer has reached almost the reserve price, then it is possible that you lift the reserve price(this means you take the reserve price off!) , we wil let potential buyers in the EU know that your keen to sell the vehicle and the vehicle will be sold. in order to have potential more bids coming in. All you need to do is send a ticket to our Customer Service en we take the reserve price off and put you object to our frontpage with a badge saying the reserve price is off!
> After the auction is over and if your reserve price has been met, and or when the reserve price( this is only possible for vehicles) is taken of and or without reserve, your vehicle or object is sold and the buyer will pay the auction amount to VintaClassics. We will keep the deposit safely in our secure account until the item is delivered.
> Your buyer will pick up your vehicle in person or have it shipped to him or you can agree to ship it to the buyer with in 7 days.
> After the buyer has received the vehicle or object in good order and confirmed, we will pay you your auction amount.
>You do not have to pay any commission fees like by other auctioneers in about 18% over the realized auction amount per listing.

The Post-Auction Process
When the reserve price is met (or when the auction has no reserve) or a buy now option is used, the auction ends. VintaClassics will send payment notification and instructions true our secured system and per mail to the Buyer. The Buyer will transfer the auction amount into VintaClassics secure account for the Sold classic vehicle. After the payment is received form Buyer we will send a notification true our secured message system to the seller that we have received payment from Buyer and to arrange shipping. Buyers or Sellers can use shipping partners from VintaClassics or use them own shipping. After successful pickup or delivery, we will pay the seller. We encourage both parties that all correspondence will take place true our secured message system so the processes of deliver and payment will not be disrupted or extra delayed for both parties.
> Payments for classic vehicles are held in escrow 3 days after the buyers picks up or receives their object in good order.
> If the auction reserve is not met when the listing ends, VintaClassics can possibly work out a deal with the highest bidder’s and seller in the hope to bring both parties together.
> We work with payment providers to handle all payments in a safe and secure manner, so you can buy or sell with confidence.
Shipping / Transport
Unless it is specifically mentioned in the item description that shipping is included, it is assumed that the buyer will pick up the vehicle, or will have the vehicle picked up. This also means that the buyer will have to pay any shipping costs.
If the buyer wants to transport the vehicle across the border, it’s important to note that the buyer should check with the government agency before arranging the trip so that specific regulations and requirements are taken into account (e.g. insurance, temporary plates, etc). You may also need to check this with your local authorities.
We strongly advise against a buyer picking up the classic vehicle and immediately driving it long distances without first having it checked by a local dealer.
A number of transport options are available:
- Transport carrier: usually is the less expensive choice but also the slowest
- Tow truck: usually used for short distance transport. Fast delivery, higher prices
- Covered vehicle transport: Expensive, usually only used for exceptionally old or valuable vehicles
- Trailer: the buyer can attach the vehicle to their own car, if they have the authorization and insurance issued by their country
If the vehicle was damaged during transport, the buyer needs to open a claim with the transport company, providing proof of the claim. It’s generally the responsibility of those who arranged transport to open the claim. As a seller, you can help by providing all the information about the time of pickup. This is why we strongly recommend documenting the entire pickup process.
Our service fees
In return for the services / promotions of the listings we provide to both buyers and sellers, we charge a transparent fee. VintaClassics is committed to bringing the power of auctions to the people without taking massive fees or charging hidden fees.
The service fee for buyers is 8,5% of the purchase price for classic vehicles, (exclusive VAT). We will add this amount to the purchase price. There is no buyers fee for items purchased on our marketplace.
The service fee for sellers is 0% of the purchase price for classic vehicles or items sold on our marketplace. VintaClassics is offering attractive selling packages and promotion packages for Sellers. We strive to be our customers’ preferred destination in their ongoing search for the special objects that fulfil their passions. VintaClassics is committed to bringing the power & convenience of online auctions to the people, there for we do not ask massive commissions like other auctioneers do, in about 18% for buyers and 18% for Sellers on the winning sale price. VintaClassics uses reliable payment providers that handle most payment options for the European Union such as: Ideal, Bankcontact, Sofort, Google pay, Apple pay, PayPal, Giro pay, Visa, Mastercard and more.
