If you want more info about an item than you can contact or contact the seller direct trough our secured message center for more info.
We also always encourage to go view the lot in person if possible. Or have a representative do it for you. In that case please contact us or the Seller for a viewing.
The reserve price is a hidden minimum price that a seller is willing to let their lot be sold for. If the reserve price has not been met once the auction ends, the lot will not be sold. Sellers then have the option to resubmit the lot in a new auction after having revised it’s reserve price.

An automated bid is a way to have our system bid for you up to your set amount.
If another bidder outbids you, our system will place a new bid for you in the smallest possible increments. The system will never exceed your set amount.
If the reserve price has not been met, the seller is not obligated to sell the vehicle or item. But if the seller prefers, we will put him in contact with the highest bidder so that both have an opportunity to work out a deal.
We charge 8,5% of the sale price on top of the winning bid, and if applicable VAT
Unless it is specifically mentioned in the item description that shipping is included, it is assumed that the buyer will pick up the vehicle, or will have the vehicle picked up. This also means that the buyer will have to pay any shipping costs.
Read more info on our Shipping & Transport page.
It’s opotional for a buyer to make a request to our customer service and view the vehicle being sold. This is highly encouraged as it fosters more trust and transparency between buyer and seller.
Criteria that need to be met in order for a buyer to view a vehicle:
- The prospective buyer must have a VintaClassics account
- The account must be fully verified
- There’s at least 48 hours left in the auction.
Providing all of the above criteria are met, a buyer may go forward and file a request, and we will then provide your contact information to the buyer so they can contact you and schedule an appointment.
If a buyer makes this request to view/ inspect the vehicle in person or by an representative and eventually wins the auction, he is no longer able to make a cancellation request via the ‘Right of Withdrawal’ as explained here.
